Dock is developing a decentralized network for digital claims issuance using blockchain. This is an opportunity to join a tight-knit and internationally distributed team on a mission to empower the creation of verifiable, individual-owned claims across organizations and industries. We are looking for a full-time Rust/Substrate developer to join our team for building technologies with strong data privacy using advanced cryptographic techniques.
You will contribute to:
Design and architecture definition
Implementing features for Dock's blockchain
Implementing cryptographic libraries
Claims and Identity open standards implementation
Technical and non-technical publications
Verifiable Credentials Data Model, Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)
Significant experience with Rust.
Experience with permissionless blockchains. We use Substrate but Ethereum experience is desirable as well.
Implementation exp. with public key cryptography.
Experience working with cloud services.
Nice to have
Polkadot ecosystem, especially Substrate
Understanding of decentralized identity space, like DIDs, Verifiable Credentials, etc.
Understanding of open standards efforts such as W3C and DIF
